This Cuvée Tradition is made from 50-year-old vines on the Boiron family estate. With aromas of lavender and southern perfumes, it is layered with dry fruits and herbal flavors, with firm tannins in the background. This is a classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape, not as alcoholic as many 2003s. Imported by Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd.

Named after a corner of the vineyard where blackbirds (merles) sing, this is a wine made from old vines, 80–90 years old. It is huge, dry and very tannic at this young stage.
