Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Deep and brooding, with raisin, tobacco and other dark, jammy notes on the bouquet. Conjuro is Bressia’s top wine, and it shows layering, texture and very good plum and berry flavors. The feel is flush and not totally soft, with integrated oak and medium, mature tannins. With blackberry and spice on the finish, it ends in a round of applause. Malbec, Cabernet and Merlot is the blend.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Raw, rubbery and just not that good of a wine. Bramble, leather and compost muscle out any fruit aromas, and on the palate it’s perky to the point of being acidic. Lacks balance while burning up everything in its path.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Sort of mossy and leathery at first, with berry fruit and a big blast of woodsy pine defining the nose. Malbec, Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah comprise Profundo, which may not be profound but still offers very good intensity, structure and overall balance. Finishes with light wood, vanilla and leftover berry flavors.
