This Cab/Merlot/Syrah blend is very much in a Washington style, with crisp acids and tart berry and currant flavors, wrapped in chocolate and showing a few specks of pepper, presumably from the Syrah. It’s solid and well-made and a good example of how Oregon vintners are breaking out of the Pinot box.
