Leathery and funky at first, with mute dried fruit. When it opens, cherry and raspberry appear along with chunky tannins that turn bitter. A bit fatter than some; it has modest berry richness, but it’s unfocused.

Stale and lacking charm. Peppery and loaded with mid-level fruit. A bit green as well.
