2004 Klingele Vineyard Syrah (Dry Red)Wine Club: $19.20Bottle Price: $24 Both vintages aromas and flavors are typical Klingele ripe blackberry, purple plum, cedar, mushroom and black licorice. A very nice vanilla note also creeps in on the full-bodied finish. The structures are seamless with a long satisfying finish. This wine would match quite well with lamb, game birds such as pheasant and quail. Richly seasoned meals centered around beef or curried foods would also be prime candidates.
