Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
What sets Gaja’s super Tuscan apart is the extraordinary softness it offers both on the nose and in the mouth. The wine’s aromas are cushiony and round, including milk chocolate, smooth cherry and silky spice. It tastes like liquid chocolate in the mouth and follows up with plump tannins and chewy succulence.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Magari is a uniquely nostalgic Italian word that loosely translates as ‘if only.’ If only Angelo Gaja released a Magari of this caliber every vintage. The wine is smooth and rich with lingering tones of cherry and sweet spice.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
From Angelo Gaja’s beautiful estate in coastal Tuscany, this super Tuscan expression delivers opulent aromas of powdered chocolate, black fruit, exotic spice, clove, leather and tobacco. The wine is beautifully integrated and harmonious and ends with impressive staying power and persistency.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A silky, medium-weight wine that bears more than a slight resemblance to Right-Bank Bordeaux. Dried herbs, chocolate and plum aromas and flavors finish long. Half Merlot, the rest evenly divided between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Imported by Paterno Wines International.
