This very nice, zesty wine blends aromatics of leather, charcoal, tire rubber, and pure black fruit into a full, masculine bouquet. The palate is equal to the task, offering ripe and rugged cherry, plum and cedar. Yes, it’s tannic, but it’s also fairly young. So drink now with pasta or meats, or hold for a while.
