This Sangiovese is potent, with dark plum and a meaty aromatic streak. The palate is pure blueberry, plum and chocolate, while the finish deals size and some layering, although it’s admittedly a touch dull. This is a chewy, rich, pleasant wine, albeit one without a lot of nuance and complexity.
