Despite being 90% Grenache, this luxury cuvée seems destined to age, buttressed by firm tannins and crisp acids. Black cherry and plum aromas carry a note of sur-maturité and hints of dusty earth, leather and spice. The finish is long, loaded with lingering chocolate and licorice nuances. Try after 2012.
