We loved the menthol freshness of this wine with mineral notes, eucalyptus, candied cherry, tealeaf or moist tobacco and leather. Warm, inviting and lush and tightly packed by rock-hard tannins. A very persistent finish. Imported by Masciarelli Wine Co.

This beautiful Brunello will charm your socks off. The wine is rich and plush, deep and concentrated, intense and ripe with personality. It offers a modern yet sneakily sophisticated nose with tones of bright cherry, almond paste and vanilla. The tannins are still a bit firm and so give it another five years of cellar aging.

Healthy and lively fruit characterize this vibrant Brunello from Capanna. The wine offers cheerful buoyancy and pristine aromas of red cherry and exotic spice. It’s tight and firm on the palate with a good balance of acidity and tannins and a luminous, polished feel overall.

This is a very likeable and approachable Brunello with soft but generous tones of cherry fruit, exotic spice, pipe tobacco and cedar wood. In fact, those exotic wood notes transfer to the mouth where the wine is smooth and enduring with a sweet cherry finale.

Here’s a Brunello Riserva with a delicate, feminine nose that recalls elements of forest fruit, pressed violets, cherry cola and dried herbs. The wine is determined, linear and powerful in the mouth with tight tannins and a polished, slightly bitter finish.

Here’s a nice Rosso di Montalcino with brambly notes of forest berry and green leaf that follow berry and cherry fruit flavors. The wine boasts a firm tannic touch and good levels of acidity that make it perfect for pasta with wild boar or meat-filled ravioli. It’s a bit thorny and sharp on the close.
