For its price, this is an unusually structured Shiraz, offering firm acids and dry, dusty tannins that suggest 2-3 years of aging. Sour plum, hickory smoke and spice shadings are complex, turning tart on the finish. Imported by Tom Eddy Wines.

Mixed berry, cola and cedar notes dominate the nose, while the palate is packed with cherry cola and leather flavors. The dense texture could use some time to open up, and that suggestion of ageability is reinforced by the finish’s dry, dusty tannins. Drink 2010–15. Imported by Tom Eddy Wines.
