Good solid nose with sweet, ripe fruit aromas, cherries and wood, earth, balanced and expressive of the “California” style; smooth and pleasant in the front of the mouth with good cherry flavors; more complexity later in the mouth with evolving flavors from fresh tannins and good citrus fruit flavors; medium finish; not a deep or very complex wine, but a good bargain at the price.
