Sweet and lightweight, with typical floral, green apple and peach aromas and flavors. Lime flavors kick in on the finish, which seem a bit insubstantial and lacking depth. A simple, lightweight Riesling that starts off a bit sulfury, then reveals tart flavors of green apples and grapefruit. Decent value, worth trying as an apéritif.

There’s definitely something funky going on though the nose is not unappealing, with some nice apricot overtones. Crisp and lightweight, it turns a bit sharp at the end.

Hey, the price is right for this serviceable auslese that smells a bit dieselly and delivers plenty of ripe pear and fruit-cocktail flavors. Blends in some green apple and citrus as well, but seems a bit hollow in the midpalate. —J.C.

Once past some sulfur on the nose, this wine opens up to show some delicate lime and green apple flavors. Finishes a bit short and lacking intensity, but very pretty, even if not terribly concentrated. —J.C.

Verges on being overly light, but in the end it delivers enough finely wrought flavor to be worthy of recommendation. Combines sweet sugary notes with leafy greens and floral elements, underlined by modest lime accents. Best Buy. —J.C.
