Starts off with burnt aromas courtesy of full-force oak, and that scent never really loosens its grip. Apple skin and raspberry flavors come in front of a clean but somewhat innocuous finish. As for mouthfeel, bracing acids ensure that this wine doesn’t feel flabby, which can sometimes be the case with Puglian reds of lesser quality.
