Soft; sweet, then bitter; sharp, smooth. Very dark and opaque, almost black - tint of red. Woody and sour, very rich, round and robust. Strong & think. Very acidic (immediate) thin-medium, a little sharp. Compared to my benchmark of Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva, it is like comparing sharp cheddar (Banfi) to medium che3ddar (Cecchi).
