This Nebbiolo definitely opens with playful hints of over-ripeness with strawberry, blackberry and Indian spice. That added softness and extra pulp really helps to balance out the variety’s natural astringency.

Bricco Medica Roero offers beautiful aromas of blue flowers, tangerine skin and cassis berry. It’s a tad softer than other expressions although the finish is tannic and drying.
