Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Cattier’s vineyards are on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, facing Reims. This vintage 2000 shows considerable mineral character allied to flavors of green plum skins, pears and yeasty, bready acidity. It’s relatively soft, but certainly attractive to drink now.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A blend of wines from 1993, 1995 and 1996 vintages according to Cattier, who owns the Clos du Moulin vineyard at Chigny-les-Roses on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. This is full-bodied with an underlying sweetness that is not quite in balance. The fruit is there, and maybe it will balance out over the next few years.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
This is Cattier's best wine, a fine blend of 60% red grapes and 40% Chardonnay, very refined, sophisticated. It has an element of toast, ripe fruits with green fruit flavors and almonds. It could well age over the next 5 years, but at this stage it is already well integrated, and delicious as a food wine.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A pleasant, soft wine, which has good acidity and ripe fruit. Dominated by Pinot Noir, it is finely crafted and ready to drink now, although it should age well over 5 or more years.
