An attractive, fresh-fruited wine that has some light sweetness as well as good yellow fruit flavors. There is pepper and some exotic spice flavors as well. Imported by Michael Lerner.

This wine could use a bit more zest but it does offer some attractive and approachable aromas of lychee and fresh grapes. The short, appley finish is saved from being flabby by a slight spritz. Drink soon.

Quite youthful, this is a sprightly and charming wine, evincing aromas of white flowers and peaches. The crisp palate has lemon-lime notes and a chalky edge. Medium, citrusy finish. Drink now or hold a few years for more complexity.

While the aromas on this example are not perfectly clean, they are followed by a burst of flavor that makes up for it all. Indian spices and macadamia nuts are punctuated by apricot fruit and wrapped up in a glossy texture. Long, nutty finish. Drink now to one year.

A solid wine with plenty of lime, grapefruit and dusty mineral notes on both the nose and palate. Medium weight and a clean, fresh finish make this a good choice for lighter fare.

Like a Rubens nude, this wine is fat and round, but somehow quite appealing, with layers of plump, ripe fruit and a luxurious texture. Canned pears dominate the aromas while plum pudding and apple spice cake merge with ginger on the palate. There is unrepentant sweetness here; serve alone or with fruit salad.

A serviceable fizz but with off-beat aromas of beer nuts and pie crust. Foamy in the mouth, it ends with a quick orange note.

This Riesling has extra levels of intensity and energy that set it apart from the crowd. Explosive aromas of fresh limes and honey burst from the glass, followed by peach and citrus flavors that drip with ripeness without getting heavy or ponderous. Long and concentrated on the finish.

Attractively priced for a grand cru wine, but not better than some producers’ blended wines. A whiff of diesel adds nuance to the baked-apple aromas, then spice and apple flavors take over on the palate. Sounds good up to then, but the finish strikes a discordant note, adding chalky, almost bitter, flavors.
