Recently bottled, some initial hints of sulfur give way to bold cherry and apricot notes; the blend is 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. It’s round and full in the mouth, with ample tannins. This youthful wine could use another 1–2 years of cellaring—that, or some red meat.
