Very sweet and round in the nose—a true whiff of Spanish Garnacha if there ever was one. The palate feels chewy as it delivers earthy, sweet flavors that don’t really fit any one particular flavor profile. In its favor, the wine has size and guts. But it also seems a tad overripe and raisiny.

A co-op wine with a meaty, spicy nose that features pepper and olive-like edges. The palate runs lean but ripe, with some plum fruit coming in front of a finish that’s lively and anchored by a pinch of chili pepper.
