Sweet, ripe and intense nose, chocolate and cacao, coal tar, at the same time deeply scented and perfumed with spiced fruit and dry earthen aromas, seductive; deep and ripe in the mouth with layers of powerfully defined black fruits flavors; there is an intense core to this wine that is a mix of fruit and earthen flavors that is impenetrable; the age of the wine begins to catch up though as the finish begins to dry out, and the powerful tannins that ’59 is known for begins to overshadow the fruit at the end; drink it if you have it.
