Sweet and ripe nose, lots of sweet aromatics, apricots, liquid sugar, ripe fruit, and spicy aromas; interesting flavors, somewhat grassy at the front of the mouth; ripe and rich, silky textures, caramel flavors; somewhat simple, however, and while the wine is good, it is not up to the best of the vintage. Deep amber color with golden highlights; intense nose with powerful burnt sugar and butterscotch aromas, smoke, exotic spices, powerful sweetness; thick and intense in the mouth; touch of vinyl, burnt sugar, butterscotch, dried apricots, figs; quite viscous, pine tar flavors; long finish with a lot of depth.
