Nice rich nose of heavy-duty black and blue fruits, lots of blueberry aromas mixed with licorice, earth, sweet extract, smoke; ripe and rich in the mouth, lots of fruit, concentrated and dense, but with a nice acidic balance that has lemon and citrus fruit mixed with the thick tannins of the region; quite sophisticated and layered, if not the most elegant; a great price point though.
