* Expert NoteDecember 19, 2005
Ripe nose, quite spicy with aromas of tea leaves, tobacco, licorice, lemon peel, and lots of ripe black fruits; a bit light and uninspired in the mouth; the wine has cherry fruit and a big tannic center, but there is a hollowness to the wine; quite lemony at the finish with a flavor that can best be described as dry lemon peel; this was tasted blind and all agreed that it did not have the character of a Lafleur, but that it was a pleasant enough wine.
