86-88 Barrel sample. This is packed with dry botrytis, plenty of spice and new wood. It's somewhat simple and obvious at this stage, as it needs more layers of flavors. In time, however, it should develop.

This dry white shows softness and a light, creamy, gentle touch. The wine has apricot and fresh lime juice flavors, opening easily as it gets air to finish well-rounded but properly crisp.

85-87 Not much botrytis here, but a powerful wine which shows quite firm fruit, and some tannic structure. There is a layer of acidity, but it is rather sharp than balancing.

Fresh in color, this characteristic continues with the fresh, citrus and bright apricot palate. The honey and dry botrytis elements of Sauternes are there, but everything is fresh, a wine dancing in the mouth.
