An aromatic blend of Bazooka bubble gum and woodspice is hardly what you’d call common, but the palate of cherry, cinnamon and broad red fruit definitely works. Overall, this is a simple wine, but a clean, well-made one. It’s correct in terms of varietal character and balance.

This wine offers a pretty nose of cherry, baking spices, leather and clay. Driving cherry fruit on the palate is followed by earthy coffee notes on the long, supple finish.

The concentrated nose features maple, leather and hints of bacon and barbecued meat. The palate has some red plum and cherry, but also a creamy vanilla note. The finish is intense and lively, marked by sharp acidity.

A tight rather deep nose of cherries, rubber and tea starts this one out; however, herbal flavors overshadow the plum and black cherry fruit. There’s a slickness to the mouthfeel, which one of our panelists termed “oily and viscous.”

Burnished gold in color, with aromas of custard, lemon curd, toast and baked apples. The flavor profile is an amalgam of dull pear and apple, while the finish is heavy as it deals coconut and tropical fruit. Overall it’s a soft, fading Chardonnay that can be summed up in one taste.
