90-92 Concentrated, structure, a wine that pushes power and density. The year's acidity adds the necessary freshness. Impressive.

86—88 Barrel sample. Very honeyed, apricot and an emphatic burst of botrytis. Through the wine, there is a streak of acidity, but the core is hollow, missing real depth of flavor.

88-90 Barrel sample. Tensely structured, showing dry botrytis above everything else. There is big concentration here, while the wine only just shows final freshness.

87-89 Barrel sample. Despite the light color, this wine has huge waves of sweetness on the nose, followed by a sweet palate. It has power, but the acidity is missing. It's honey without the lemon.
