Underground, lightly musty aromas harm what is otherwise an attractively warm wine, with flavors of wild strawberries and ripe citrus. The acidity gives extra freshness to the taste. Shame about the aroma.

A light pink/grey color on a wine that is equally light on flavor, feeling rather neutral. The acidity is attractive, but the fruit is limited.

This misses the freshness of good Provence rosé. With its petrol aroma and bitter flavors, it doesn’t live up to its billing as the lighter of the two rosés from Château de Saint-Martin.

In its bottle reminiscent of an old-style gin bottle, this is certainly a stand-out in terms of appearance. The wine is less interesting, pale in color, fat in style.
