Admittedly one of the lesser lights from this appellation, but showing good characteristics; rich nose with lots of black fruit, peppery, spicy, if a bit light and not particularly complex; good fruit in the front of the mouth, there is a lot of black cherry here; falls apart a bit in the middle of the mouth, becoming a bit two-dimensional; lacks the depth of its more famous neighbors, but pleasant and fresh; nicely balanced finish.
