Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
The bright young thing in the Tracy range, this is an intensely herbal wine, its acidity fully integrated into a rich texture. It’s packed with lemon, green plum and pink grapefruit flavors. Give it six months.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A big, ripe wine, still very young and fresh in the mouth, showing how concentrated Sauvignon Blanc can age well. From a densely planted vineyard, the wine is bold, with a hint of minerality. It will age for several more years.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Wonderful herbaceous aromas shout Sauvignon Blanc. There is also a tropical element in the ripe fruit of this fine, cleanly fresh wine. It has good density, a layer of minerality and a shot of bright final acidity.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
From a parcel at the highest point of the Tracy vineyard, this is a spectacular, densely mineral wine, taking its flavor from the soil. It is spicy, ripe and very full, with light tropical fruits as well as a taut and tight texture. Age for 2–3 years.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
With a density of nearly 7,000 vines per acre, and consequent low yields, it is not surprising this is a concentrated, intense wine. It has quintessential herbaceous flavors, rounded out with a creamed apple element and a tight, steely texture. Age for 3–4 years.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Just enough chalk and mineral is present on the bouquet to complement the melon, citrus and green herb notes. Very much of a streamlined, tight wine on the palate, where melon, lemon and citrus pith come together. Refreshing, dry and firm; the perfect shellfish accompaniment. Imported by Louis Latour.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Full and sweet on the bouquet, with bits of chalk dust, wax bean and bread. Round and ripe, like every 2003 we came across. The flavors go toward peach and pear, with hints of balancing lime and mineral. Melony and long on the finish, with a spot of alcoholic warmth. Imported by Louis Latour.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Young to taste, this wine is hardly ready to show its full fruit and rounded green flavors. Yet it’s possible to tell that this is going to be impressively rich but crisp, the acidity a telling adjunct to the perfumed concentration and pear skin flavors.

A lively, open, crisp wine, ready to drink, with a fresh apple and cream flavor complementing its flavors of pineapple and herbaceous edge. Delicious, easy Sauvignon Blanc.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Very grassy, herbaceous aromas lead to a wine that is dominated by minerality and pink grapefruit. It is intense, ripe and concentrated, but there is an element of tension in its crisp aftertaste.
