90-92 Barrel sample. This is rich, full of sweet-and-sour acidity, layers of sweet tannins and big, ripe fruit. It's powerful, intense and full of pure black currant fruit flavors. Ends with great acidity.

A stalky, lean wine with austere fruits. The tannins are dry and washed in acidity. It’s firm, structured, hinting at some juicy black currants. There’s some spice and smokiness from the wood.
