Nose is loaded with minerals, green herbs and grassy aromas, alcohol and tar, blueberries and blackberries, a bit aggressive; first taste has lots of sweet fruit, black plums and cherries, but there is an overabundance of searing tannins in this wine that really dry out the flavors in the middle of the mouth; the wine has a good body and decent structure, but lacks fullness and complexity; good but simple, but keeping in mind that it is less than $10 retail, worth looking at for the right occasion.
