Potentially an aromatic wine that will develop a rich, velvety character. At this young stage, the fruit is dominated by firm tannins that sit at the heart of the wine. It has all the density for a good development, aging over 5–10 years.

Under the same ownership as Château La Paloumey in the Haut-Médoc, this is rich, with well-integrated flavors of blackberry and figs. There are fruit tannins that lie easily over the wood and the acidity.

Tight and tannic, this is a wine with as much structure as fruit. It has a dusty, austere quality, the fruit a light layer underneath. The high proportion of Petit Verdot in the blend gives color as well as those tannins.

This intriguing wine is dominated by the 60% of normally rare Petit Verdot. Made by the same team as Château Paloumey, this wine shows an impressive color, and a rich, black berry juicy character. The tannins are solid, but the exuberant fruit overrides everything else.
