A Merlot-dominated wine, but with enough tannin from Cabernet Sauvignon to give structure. It is balanced, fresh, moving towards fruitiness, taking in red berries, plums and bright final acidity along the way.

Lean tannins and fresh acidity are the main characters of this dry but fresh wine. Black currant skins along with some black plum flesh open out in the mouth. Allow at least 3 years before drinking.

There’s plenty of classic Bordeaux black currant here, freshening up this fruity, fragrantly fresh wine. The tannins are a whisper under all this great fruit.
