A bit of a disappointment after the very good showing of Moutète's 2004 bottlings, this vintage seems a bit broad and fat, lacking cut and clarity to its peach, herb and melon flavors.

This has to be an important wine from the weight of the bottle and, with a broad take on rosé, this lives up to the billing. The wine is fat, the acidity a less important element than the ripe red berry fruit flavors.

Slightly richer in texture than Moutète's regular bottling, but not any better overall. Smells a bit like fresh cantaloupe with hints of peach and raspberry, then adds some chalky notes on the fresh, clean finish.

A typical blend of Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah, this fresh, tangy rosé features hints of cherries and berries layered over peach and canteloupe. White chocolate adds a creamy note to the palate, completing this refreshing wine.
