Densely tannic, this has edgy black currant flavor emerging between a firmly dry structure packed with dark berry fruits and fresh acidity. This is light in fruit and heavy on tannins.

Very honeyed aromas are followed by a soft, open, very ripe wine. If it lacks crispness, it more than makes up for this with its rounded feel, gentle and with wood elements. Green plums finish it well.

Dense fruit sets this wine off well. It has structure, ripe black plum juice and cranberry fruits, followed by sweet tannins as well as balancing acidity. The ensemble of fruit and tannins promises some aging—maybe 3 years, but with its richness it is drinkable now.

A solid, firm wine that shows some rich black currants, but mainly goes for a more austere character. The tannins give a dry, tight edge, but the fruit and acidity do cut through at the end.
