Accents of gamy animal and garrigue herbs in the form of dried thyme and bay leaves lift the bright fruit aromas of red berry preserves and fleshy plum guts. The structure is gorgeous, creamy and lush but textured like crushed velvet with firm but not overly gripping tannins. Black cherry pits and plum skins linger on the lengthy finish.
