Very mature. So much so that the last sips were not good. Right out of the bottle this showed nice fruit, balance and complexity. Quite enjoyable as long as you don't linger over it for over an hour (10/8/2006). This one stayed good to the last drop. But with six people that didn't take long. Almost tastes more left bank than right. Definitely a mature Bordeaux tasting as if it contained Cab Franc, not predominantly Merlot (10/22/2006).
