Under the ownership of Patrick Bernard (whose family also owns Domaine de Chevalier in the Graves), this estate produces good, solid wines. Maybe this 2002 lacks great depth, but it has pleasant spice and wood flavors to go along with the ripe fruit. Drink soon.

A big black-colored wine that has layers of wood to go with the ripe plum and dried fruit flavors. The tannins are intense, very dry, chewy at this stage. It is dark, solid, intense and will certainly need several years of aging.

Under the ownership of Patrick Bernard (same family as the owners of Domaine de Chevalier), this is an up-and-coming estate that makes fine wines. This 2003 is particularly rich, a solid, generously tannic wine that has excellent ripe black fruits, sweet tannins and tarry flavors.
