Sweet spicy nose, very buttery, rich, loaded with herbs, quite assertive aromas; sweet and rich in the mouth, but lacks depth and complexity; this wine is all forward and drops off quickly in the mouth; strange textures even though it remains spicy and sweet, thick while at the same time a bit dilute; this wine is very enigmatic at this time and may need more bottle time to knit and emerge. Deeply aromatic, rubber and vinyl, spicy, green herbs but also lots of big fruit aromas; lots of fruit in the front of the mouth, spicy and lemony with big acidity; long, complex finish, very balanced in the mouth; light and fresh with nice lemon flavors at the end. (16.5/20)

At first, a very light nose with faint aromas, but as it breathed in the glass, the nose emerged with spicy exotic aromas, touches of herbs and minerals, sweet fruit, dense and a bit smoky; soft and very round on the palate, with layered fruit and minerals; it has the unique CNP taste with a smoky minerally flavor laced with hints of anise and rosemary; very soft and dense, almost oily, and could use a bit more acidity.
