A smooth, creamy wine, rich in red fruits and rounded tannins. There’s plenty of acidity but that just gives the delicious fruit character a good lift. Wood creeps in, playing a supporting role.

The top cuvée from Château Saint-Robert, dominated by new wood covering the attractive fresh berry fruits underneath. The wood, with its attendant spice, needs to blow away and integrate for the wine to come into its own.

A soft, generous wine, structured between white fruits and toast flavors. There is fresh acidity that lifts the fruit, and the vanilla tastes are just coming into balance with the rich, rounded texture. This has serious potential; age at least 4–5 years.
