Rich and ripe aromas, stony and minerally at the outset, but with a nice touch of honey and floral scents that conjure up acacia flowers in bloom; sweet and perfumed fruit in the mouth, lush, succulent flavors, but focused and not flabby; there is a nicely integrated and balanced dry citrus presence that keeps the wine very much within nicely defined boundaries; citric, balanced and elegant at the end; one of the best of these wines I have had recently.

Light nose with wafting aromas, lemony and citrus with elements of lemon peel and green herbs; smooth and sweet on initial taste, tightly wound with a layer of minerals just below the surface; citric but ripe at the same time; there is not a lot of depth of flavor, though, and much of what is there gets repetitive with circling back of the same flavors with little evolvement; medium minerally finish, nice lemon zest flavors.

Ripe and sweet nose with initial aromas of sweet vanilla, caramel, and freshly churned butter, quite floral and effusive; in the mouth the first taste carries the vanilla from the nose onto the palate, but then more elements of fresh citrus fruit emerge, the acidity is focused and fresh, and provides a nice backdrop to the sweet ripe fruit of this wine; very young, of course, but approachable and another good result from this property making fine white wines now for several years.

Tasted at the Château, as with this vintage, the wines open up with powerful and deep aromas of immense richness and showing extracted fruit, layers of sugar and sweet black fruits, sugar, minerals, tar, cassis, green herbs, pepper and a touch of smoke all combine into a powerful and intense nose; sweet and very ripe fruit in the mouth, quickly tempered by powerful tannins, but ripe and smooth; sweet spicy fruit, black cherries and plums; drier at the finish with sour red fruits, quince, sour cherry flavors; a young wine at this stage but with nice focus and concentration.

Quickly evolving nose from green and grassy with green spices, sage, herbs, to a warm sweet nose of toasted butterscotch; crisp and clean in the mouth, lots of citrus fruit, lemon peel, lots of minerals; a bit tough; spicy at the end but also a little short. (16/20)

Wonderful aromas of sweet spices and lemon peel, quite aromatic and perfumed, lots of white pepper and fresh-mown clover aromas; fresh and crisp in the mouth with a focused core of lemons and spices; there is a softness about this wine as well that makes it more complex than many would assume; long finish with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, with layers of fruit and herbs; this property is continuing to excel in the white Bordeaux field. (18/20)

Wonderful aromatics in this wine, sweet and minerally on the nose, lots of aromas here with earth, lemon peel, minerals, grapefruit, and bitters evident; sweet in the front of the mouth, but then quickly shifting to pronounced grapefruit flavors with sweet bitter flavors, touch of spices, fresh acidity makes the wine crisp and intense on the palate; long finish dominated by the flavors of grapefruit seen at the beginning, but at the same time ripe and rich with a nice mouth-coating finish. (18.5/20)
