Full and solid, here is a wine with denseness and rich, ripe Merlot flavors. Dried black fruits, eucalyptus and sweet berries all work together well. The tannins are dry, firm, a dark layer under the rich fruit. Worth aging for 2–3 years.

89-91 Barrel sample. Firm, stalky almost, with considerable acidity. The wine feels very structured, designed for aging with the freshest final acidity.
