Huge intense nose of cracked black pepper showing the concentration of merlot, deep and intense aromas of black fruits and licorice, dense but positively enticing nose; rich and ripe with real fruit concentration on the palate; typical of this vintage, the wine is fully ripe and ready to drink, but at the same time it is fresh and supple with layers of flavor; lots of black pepper and spices, mixed with powerful yet evolved tannins; long, sweet finish with loads of fruit and cassis flavors, ending with a mix of oriental spice and fruit; still quite young even in this format.
