Extremely straightforward; not complex. Nose of plum and cherry and the faint characteristic of caramel. Clear ruby color. Light-bodied, fruity, and super smooth. Feel like I could chug the bottle. Best as accompaniment with hearty, complex dishes where the wine serves more as an accent than as a partner.
