On the lean side for a 2009 Bordeaux, this brings out a dry, tannic character, just softened with sweet black currant juice. There is stalky acidity on the finish.

A lean, too tannic wine that shows black currant acidity, almost austere in its dry character. There is good density as well, that promises a year or two of aging before opening up.
