This is a Bordeaux region wine, not a Loire Valley, I think

Sweet and aromatic with very floral overtones, aromas of earth and red spices, tea leaves, cassis, ripe fruit and chocolate and mocha; sweet and fresh in the mouth; this is very lively for its age; plenty of deep fruit with rich flavors of black cherries, berries, plums; great finish with wonderful balance. Big nose, sweet and dense, very smooth and rich with powerful aromas, a sense of overripe fruit, caramel, chocolate, truffles; deep and rich in the mouth, powerful approach that is characterized with intense black fruit flavors; big chewy dry tannins in the center that I fear will overpower the fruit in the next few years; long and deep at the finish, plenty of fruit to sustain the structure of the wine; this is one of the better bottles that I have had of this wine, as I usually find that the ’82 is not a complete success for this property. An interesting contrast to the ’86, this wine is open and willing to share its secrets now; wonderful sweet aromas of milk chocolate mix with tobacco, oriental spice, black pepper, earth and cassis, rich and creamy nose that is also floral and perfumed; sweet and ripe in the mouth, very rich and creamy with layers of sweet red and black fruits; spicy with pepper and oriental spice flavors, licorice, spiced apples; very polished and elegant and ready now. Classic nose of this brooding vintage, deep and musty nose with an earthen and truffle-laced scent, the nose remains clouded with a shell around it, but there is evidence of licorice and tobacco and sweet spiced fruit; sweet and dry in the mouth, still not out of its adolescence and layered over with a shell of tannins that present the mouth with a dry and austere presence; very intense though with layers of complexity still to discover; this vintage remains one of the most difficult to assess as it progresses at a glacial pace. Deep and rich nose, lots of tar, licorice, smoked meat, leather, cedar, and earth, complex and deep aromas; smooth and ripe in the mouth with lots of layers of fruit; red cherries, dry plums, pomegranates; not as complex or as intense as some of the more recent vintages from this property; but still nicely concentrated and spicy at the end with black pepper and various spices at the finish. Smooth and rich nose, lots of tar and earthy aromas, intense with secondary aromas of rubber, blackberry jam, deep and brooding; sweet fruit in the mouth, loaded with blueberry and blackberry flavors; not yet ready for drinking, the wine has a dry tannic center that will need several more years to integrate fully; good flavors of cassis and beetroot; very earthy and chalky at the finish, but elegant and deep; this will be terrific in a few years. Sweet and rich nose, chocolate, caramel, blackberry jam, very aromatic and rich; sweet and round in the mouth, lots of stuffing here for a young wine; smooth, spicy, still hot in the mouth, but that should disappear with more bottle age; quite forward and smooth with layers of fruit; long finish with adolescent bitterness still showing from unresolved tannins.
