95-97 Barrel sample. Ripe and sweet, initially very much a wine on the surface, but then one that offers an impressive density of botrytis, sweet apricots and complex biting honey.

91—93 Barrel sample. This is crisp, lively and ripe, but also shows some excellent botrytis, honey and quince flavors. There is a hint of lychee in the spiciness.

87-89 There is certainly good fruit here, it is quite light, delicate and layered with tannins and acidity. This is a fresh, fruity style, but with all the right characteristics.

87-89 Barrel sample. Almonds, some spice and dryness are the dominant impressions of this wine. It is concentrated, very rich with layers of dense botrytis and flavors of oak and sweet fruit. A success for this lesser-know property.

A firm, densely structured wine, with the sweetness turned as much into richness. The flavors are of Seville orange zest, the richness coming from honey and almonds, balanced with dry botrytis. An impressive wine that needs time for aging.

A highly perfumed wine, which shows high vanilla and wood flavors, while the sweetness remains much more delicate. A combination that needs time to settle down before becoming a light style of Sauternes.

90-92 Barrel sample. Big, rich botrytis character from the first aromas right through the palate. The wine is rich in orange marmalade, intense and concentrated.

Rich and ripe nose, loaded with lots of butterscotch and vanilla, apricot jam, spices, layered and opulent aromas; wonderful in the mouth, ripe, rich and spicy with a wonderful creamy texture; nicely integrated acidity that evokes pineapples and crab apples; sweetness comes from apricots and white peaches; long finish with spices and a touch of bitter almonds. Very sweet and honeyed nose, liquid apricots, spices, very aromatic and concentrated; sweet, rich ripe flavors in the mouth; apricots and white peaches; spicy; more acidity emerges with time in the glass and the wine assumes a sharp focus of flavors; long finish with sweetness and pineapple acidity nicely mixed.
