Fresh black currant fruit gives this wine all the vivacity of the 2006 vintage. It is a beautiful, elegantly crafted wine, as you would expect from the same team as Château Ausone, and it has a lovely lightness of touch, with its final note one of delicious juiciness.

The wine has some weight and an attractive meat and smoke character to go with the black berry fruits. Well balanced, shot through with acidity.

Very fresh, with well-judged wood and very juicy fruit, a wine that is almost shocking in its youthful acidity. It bursts in the mouth, fruit and bright.

86-88 Fine fruit, lovely black currant character, with fine acidity and great freshness. A delicious wine. There is some Carmenère in the blend.
