This is a concentrated, balanced, sweetly juicy wine, benefiting from wood and ripe black fig and plum flavors. It has fine ripe tannins that support the freshly juicy fruits. Ready to drink, but will age over 2–3 years.

A relatively light-textured wine, already open and accessible. The fresh berry fruit has an attractive wood spice edge, with the tannins providing an attractive counterpoint. Delicious, and is likely to develop quickly.

This wine is juicy, fruity, and has an easy fresh style. At the same time, there is good intensity of flavor from the ripe, small berries of 2003. Ready to drink now, it should age well over the next 5 years.
